American Red Cross - Blended Learning - Instructions
Blended learning outline
- The first part of the blended learning course is designed to instruct participants in the knowledge-based aspects of the course and introduce them to the skills they will practice and master during the in-person skills session. The online session also includes a final exam to test participants' cognitive understanding of BLS, CPR/AED/First Aid, ALS(ACLS), or PALS.
- Part 2, the in-person skills session focuses on the hands-on skills practice and scenario-based team response practice and testing.
Instructions for students
- Select the course from the following list.
- Click on the appropriate link to access the online portion of the course.
- After course completion, print the certificate of completion and return to ambulanceresources.com and submit application for hands on skills testing.
- You will be contacted by phone or email to schedule the hands on skills testing.
- Provide course payment online at ambulanceresources.com or contact us to discuss providing payment in person during hands on skills testing.
Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED - Blended Learning
$85 due prior to skills testing (Approx 2hrs 30min Online Class)
Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED - Blended Learning
$65 due prior to skills testing (Approx 1hrs 30min Online Class)
First Aid - Blended Learning
$50 due prior to skills testing (Approx 1hrs 5min Online Class)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) - Blended Learning
$55 due prior to skills testing (Approx 1hrs 30min Online Class)
Advanced Life Support (ACLS) - Blended Learning
$165 due prior to skills testing (Approx 5hrs Online Class) - Must have current BLS Card
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Blended Learning
$165 due prior to skills testing (Approx 4hrs Online Class) - Must have current BLS Card
Instructor Led Classes - CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Basic Cardiac Rhythms
We are also more than happy to hold in house classes or travel to your location. Minimum of 6 people required. Prices vary due to location and class size.

- Instructor-Led Initial course
- Instructor Led Review or Challenge course
- Instructor Led- Gives individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal class setting. The format optimizes a participant's ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skill evaluation.
- To be eligible to participate in the review course, the participant must possess and American Red Cross certification (or equivalent).
